Re:Build Composite Resources, a Re:Build Manufacturing company, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II to lead composite process development and optimization. You will drive improvements from prototype to serial production, manage tooling with SolidWorks, and coordinate cross-functional problem solving.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in composite manufacturing, strong analytical and communication skills, and a track record of delivering measurable cost/quality gains in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related STEM field.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in composite or advanced manufacturing.
• Proven track record leading process improvement projects with measurable results.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and statistical analysis tools; knowledge of GD&T is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine composite manufacturing processes for product families or cells.
• Build and implement advanced manufacturing solutions including layup aids and cure cycle optimization.
• Develop tooling with SolidWorks; manage tooling fabrication from concept to validation.
• Conduct DOE, CPk, and SPC studies to improve processes.
• Lead validation for new materials, equipment, and processes; write process specs and control plans.
• Serve as technical lead for complex manufacturing issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Ensure readiness for NPIs and seamless handover to serial production; mentor junior staff.
