Job summary

100KCrossing is seeking a Laminator to laminate composite components onto molds for motorsports, OEM, and aerospace applications. The role demands handling composite materials safely, following procedures, and producing high-quality parts with precise lamination techniques.

You will hand laminate, prepare autoclave-ready components, and fabricate molds per patterns, while addressing quality issues with engineers and maintaining schedule priorities.

  • Follow safety policies and report risks.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The Laminator is responsible for laminating composite components onto molds to create custom products for various industries, including Motorsports, OEM, and Aerospace. This role requires expertise in handling composite materials, following safety procedures, and producing high-quality custom parts through precise laminating techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle composite materials safely and follow procedures.
  • Hand laminate composite materials, following specifications.
  • Prepare components for autoclave curing using vacuum bagging.
  • Prepare molds and tooling with sealers and release systems.
  • Fabricate molds based on supplied patterns.
  • Follow manuals and processes, addressing quality issues with engineers.
  • Follow supervisor priorities to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
  • Follow safety policies and report risks.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Hours of Operation

1st Shift 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 2nd Shift 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM; Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends, overtime, and holidays as scheduled by leadership.

  • Working around moving mechanical equipment and in areas with varying noise levels, temperatures, fumes, airborne particles, dust, chemicals, or other manufacturing‑related conditions
  • Wearing required personal protective equipment, which may include safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, protective footwear, respirators, or other designated PPE
  • Using close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision, color recognition, and the ability to adjust focus when required by the position
