Job summary

Greene, Tweed in Kulpsville, PA seeks a Composite Cell Operator for 2nd shift (2:30 pm - 10:45 pm) in the Composites department. Responsibilities include pre-molding, molding and post-molding, inspection, and assembly tasks to ensure high-quality output.

The role requires reading detailed drawings, operating measurement equipment, and maintaining TPMs and data records. A high school diploma and clear communication are required; safety and continuous improvement are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret part drawings, assembly prints, routings, work instructions, work orders and written instructions.
• Ability to independently read and interpret production drawings, company documents and other specified requirements for standard job functions.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all federal and state environmental, health and safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Perform pre-molding operations and run pre-molding equipment.
• Mold prep, molding and press operations with troubleshooting of alarms and issues.
• Degate, finish and visually inspect parts to ensure high quality.
• Perform inspection using CMM/OGP and other measuring devices.
• Perform post molding, assembly operations and component installation.
• Follow SPC, process and assembly procedures and read detailed part drawings.
• Handle warehouse functions for finished parts receipts and packing.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Comply with all federal and state environmental, health and safety regulations as well as any safety policies and protocols outlined by the company.
• Perform all pre-molding operations (material prep) and run all pre-molding equipment within the department as required.
• Perform all mold prepping, molding and press operations within the department as required. Acknowledge and troubleshoot press alarms and molding problems, initiate corrective action as required.
• Degate, Finish and visually inspect parts as necessary to ensure highest quality product on all equipment within the department.
• Perform all inspection requirements including the use of contact/non-contact measuring systems (CMM, OGP, etc.) and or other measuring devices.
• Perform all non-destructive testing as required.
• Perform all post molding, assembly operations and component installation
• Follow all SPC, process and assembly procedures.
• Must be able to read and follow detailed part/assembly drawings.
• Perform all warehouse functions within the department for finished part receipts, finished part issues, kitting and final packing as per customer requirements. Excludes receiving and shipping functions
• Ability to meet or exceed all quality and production standards.
• Cleanliness - maintain facility housekeeping, clean machines and work area.
• Perform all TPM’s schedules for all equipment within the department.
• Record all Information on GT data collection system as required.
• Load and unload fixtures in the department as required.
• Maintain annual quality certification and assure parts meet quality standards.

Other Responsibilities

• Perform miscellaneous duties in the department as assigned.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
• Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing with other team members, internal/external auditors, support functions and customers when required.
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings, assembly prints, routings, work instructions, work orders and written instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret production drawings, work instructions, Company documents and other specified requirements essential for performing standard job functions

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to use air/impact type tools
• Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds
• Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Job involves bending and stooping
