Arrowhead Products in Los Alamitos, CA 90720 is seeking a Fabrication Associate to perform fabrication of composite and non-metal components for the company. The role focuses on operating ultra-lightweight equipment and following strict production planning.

You will cut, prep, coat, and inspect ducting, wire ducts, sleeves, and related parts, ensuring conformance to blueprints and high quality standards. The position emphasizes safety, traceability, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing

Competenze

Job Details:

Job Location: Arrowhead Products - Los Alamitos, CA 90720, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $26.10 - $26.10 Hourly, Job Shift: 1st Shift , Job Summary:

This position will perform fabrication of Arrowhead Products composite/non-metal components & products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform setup and operation of ultra-lightweight equipment per specifications and planning requirements.
• Will fabricate wire ducts, shrouds, sleeves, and hand push ducting.
• Will identify part defects and make proper corrections.
• Will cut and prep cuffs per blueprint and production planning specifications.
• Will operate oven, strip, and coat ducting as required.
• Will perform spray coating and stripping operations of various parts using build mandrels.
• Fabricate various types of wire and hand push ducting.
• Verify incoming material and components are compliant to the approved specifications.
• Painting, vacuum bagging, and curing of various parts.
• Remove minor imperfections using mechanical, manual and chemical methods according to approved process instructions.
• Will share job knowledge in machine operations for coating and bagging.
• May assist M.E. in developing new processes.
• Record all traceability information of material used and log on shop travelers.
• Responsible for assisting the department in the development of techniques to increase productivity, quality, and throughput of products in the department
• Will maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, FOD-free fashion and adhere to all Safety standards

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing experience may be substituted for education requirement.

• Knowledge of compounds, cure release agents, care and maintenance, and good knowledge of records, planning, and spec. requirements.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, work orders, and production planning documents.
• Ability to use standard manufacturing measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, scales, and depth gauges, etc.
• Must be capable of working with tight tolerances such as + or - .001".
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to perform quality work in a safe and efficient manner.

• Work around equipment and machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Walk on uneven ground.

• Be exposed to extremes in temperature, humidity, or wetness, particularly on the manufacturing floor.
