Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Illinois seeks an Electrical Engineer to support electrical component engineering activities, perform analyses, review schematics, and assist with motors, actuators, generators, and power system components.

The role includes component selection, validation and testing, and integration of electrical hardware into vehicle systems, with engineering documentation and collaboration with suppliers and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of engineering experience preferred; strong internship/co-op/projects considered.
• Fundamental understanding of electrical circuits and components, motors/actuators, power and energy systems, schematics/diagrams, and validation/testing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and collaborate in a team-based environment.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Support electrical component engineering activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering experience preferred. Recent graduates with strong internship, co-op, or project experience will also be considered.

• Experience supporting component engineering, sourced hardware, or product development programs.
• Experience with one or more of the following tools:

• Exposure to requirements management, test planning, or verification and validation activities.
• Experience working in a laboratory or test environment.
• Knowledge of agricultural, construction, automotive, or off-highway vehicle systems.
