POSITION SUMMARY

Manage the workflow of device analysis jobs to ensure a systematic, logical, detailed examination of devices at various states of disassembly. Analyze process outputs, anomalies and failures to determine if parts submitted have defects that could impact reliability which could degrade or disable future system performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE
  • Manage a set of given analyses to ensure work is completed in an orderly fashion.
  • Record test results, make computations, and analyze results.
  • Ensure each process step is completed properly.
  • Analyze process step outputs to evaluate if additional work is needed.
  • Analyze all failures and anomalies to identify next steps or additional work needed.
  • Write and finalize reports for release to final review.
  • Perform hands‑on inspection of components to identify and categorize anomalies associated with defects driven by the manufacturing process.
  • Participate in the formation and documentation of new analysis techniques
  • Coordinate with engineering, analysts, customer service, production and shipping departments to implement fulfillment of customer’s needs.
  • Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

Education: Associates degree in Science or Engineering is strongly preferred but a combination of education and experience wherein the skills and abilities to perform the responsibilities and functions have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.

Experience: Up to 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry preferred.

  • Ability to perform electronic component physical analysis.
  • Must be an analytical thinker that can anticipate and resolve complex, non-routine problems
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals, operating procedures, and Industry/Military Standards.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to use time management skills to handle multiple priorities in a timely manner.
  • Team oriented with the ability to train others as needed.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to achieve required results.
  • Effectively and efficiently utilize Microsoft Office and other computer products and programs.
