Job summary

Connected Logistics is seeking a Compliance SME to support the core network engineering services for IOEE/IOSEE systems, ensuring a secure, reliable, and high-performance network across DoD sites. The role requires deployment to DLA locations as needed and involves upgrading and integrating new technologies.

This contingent position requires Top Secret clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification, and strong problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology).
• Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to work with minimal direction and exercise latitude in determining technical objectives.
• Expertise in Information Technology areas such as architecture, system design, security engineering, and networks.
• Limited travel (~3 times per year).

• Serve as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing direction and alternatives.
• Apply extensive technical expertise across related disciplines.

Connected Logistics is seeking a Compliance SME to assist in providing the core network engineering services needed to manage the ongoing operations, planned upgrades, new technology insertion, and strategic capability development of Information Operations Enterprise Enclave (IOEE) and Information Operations Secure Enterprise Enclave (IOSEE) systems and equipment with the goal of providing a secure, reliable, and high-performance network that effectively enables DLA's business activities. This requires the ability to deploy to any DLA site in support of installation or troubleshooting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role you will provide expert support, analysis and research into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter. Other duties include but aren't limited to:

Serving as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives.

Applying extensive technical expertise and full knowledge of other related disciplines.

Guiding the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.

Developing technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.

Requirements:

• Ten (10) years of experience in a relevant field, (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology)
• Thinks independently and demonstrates exceptional written and oral communications skills.
• Work is performed without appreciable direction must have ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.
• Expertise is in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management).
• May need to travel around 3 times a year

Investigative Requirement: At time of proposal the contractor must possess a High Risk, Critical Sensitive, Tier 5/SSBI investigation.

Clearence: Top Secret

8570/8140: DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level III (CISSP, CISM, GSLC or Equivalent)

Computing Environment Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional-Enterprise (CCNP-E)
• Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert -Enterprise Infrastructure (CCIE-EI) is preferred
• Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA)

Additional preferred certifications include:

• Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
• AWS Cloud Practitioner
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
• Comp TIA Cloud+
