Job summary

PawaPay is a pan-African fintech enabling local payment channels used by the mass market to both local and international merchants. The role focuses on due diligence, KYC verification, and risk assessment to ensure regulatory compliance across markets.

You'll investigate transaction monitoring alerts, perform sanctions screening on merchants, and prepare compliance reports to support internal and external audits. Fluent English is required; French is a plus for Africa-focused operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in KYC or transaction monitoring in a regulated environment.
• Fluent English required; French desirable.
• Experience with African markets is a plus.
