Shepherd is seeking a Compliance Lead to own and manage the company’s rate and form filing process nationwide. This role drives filing packages, partners with carriers, responds to objections, and ensures timely approvals across all states.

You will work with underwriting, engineering, and customer experience to implement forms and maintain a coherent filing library. The position reports to the Director of Compliance and is onsite in multiple offices (San Francisco, New York, Dallas–Fort Worth,

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of experience in insurance regulatory/compliance with rate and form filings in casualty, workers' comp, or inland marine/builders risk.

Aufgaben

• Own and manage Shepherd's rate and form filing process across all 50 states.
• Prepare and submit filing packages with partners and actuaries, including rate pages, form schedules, and supporting memos.
• Respond to objections, track approvals, and close filings.
• Implement approved forms in the underwriting platform and test attachments.
• Maintain library of filed forms, rates, and rules; ensure content vs. issued policies consistency.
• Draft new forms/endorsements with leads to support new products.
• Serve as escalation point for underwriting and customer experience on forms and policy issuance.
