Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to help build configurable reports that enable expansion into new markets and jurisdictions. This is a brand new team focused on compliance reporting and data workflows, with cross-functional collaboration across Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering.

You will design, implement, and maintain reporting forms and workflows, write configuration scripts (JavaScript/JSON), troubleshoot compliance challenges, and help

We are looking for a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join our Compliance & Reporting customer team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a brand new team responsible for building configurable reports that enable Mark43 to expand into new markets and support customers in new jurisdictions. Your work will have a direct impact on the company's growth by helping unlock new customers, accelerate deployments, and ensure our platform meets complex state and agency-specific reporting requirements.

Built and configured reporting forms that satisfy state-specific compliance requirements, helping customers successfully deploy Mark43 in new jurisdictions.

• ~ Partnered with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams to understand customer reporting needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• ~ Developed configurable forms and reporting workflows that reduce customization while meeting diverse customer requirements.
• ~ Worked with customers to troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges and identify opportunities to improve the product.
• ~ Helped establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices for a brand new team that will play a key role in Mark43's continued growth.
• ~ Wrote and maintained scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related technologies to support form configuration and automation.
• ~ Improved internal documentation and tooling to make compliance reporting easier to build, maintain, and scale.

Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions. Experience working with scripting and configuration technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar languages.

• ~ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• ~ Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams.
• ~ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers when needed.
