Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, Ohio is seeking a Product Safety Compliance Engineer to lead global and local certifications for its Liquid Cooling products. You will guide engineers ensuring designs comply with UL, NEC, IEC and other safety standards.

You will translate regulatory clauses into actionable guidance, sign off release readiness, and develop test plans and documentation while coordinating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or directly related degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluent with UL, CSA, cUL, NEC, IEC, NFPA, CE, CCC, Global CB Scheme with the ability to interpret and communicate these global regulations.
  • Ability to oversee global product compliance and navigate local certifications in each region.
  • Basic working knowledge in mechanical and thermal systems preferred.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and operate in cross‑functional global development teams.
  • Compliance Engineering experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test reports.
  • Ability to work and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a dynamic team.

  • Participate and follow standards and regulatory committees to ensure the Liquid Cooling Business objectives are represented.

Job Description

The Product Safety Compliance Engineer will lead product safety compliance activities related to new product development and product sustaining tasks for Vertiv’s Liquid Cooling business.
