About the Role

Help us build safer, smarter systems—and see your expertise make an impact from the first design to final approval.

We’re looking for a bilingual Compliance Engineer with a background in Electrical Engineering who is excited to turn complex safety requirements into practical solutions. You’ll work closely with our project teams, bringing electrical safety and compliance into every stage of the project lifecycle.

You’ll review electrical designs, help select compliant components, and guide teams through installation. As the company’s primary contact for UL and other Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) inspections and evaluations, you’ll take a leading role in helping our projects succeed.

If you enjoy solving technical challenges, collaborating across teams, and taking ownership of work that matters, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review electrical drawings, panel designs, and bills of materials for compliance with applicable UL standards, electrical codes, and project requirements.
  • Guide component selection and work with engineering and procurement teams to resolve compliance issues before fabrication and installation.
  • Travel periodically to project sites to verify installation compliance and coordinate corrective actions with project teams and contractors.
  • Serve as the company’s primary contact for UL and other NRTL inspections, preparing documentation and addressing technical questions.
  • Track inspection findings through resolution and maintain complete, organized compliance records.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering field.
  • Familiarity with control cabinet or industrial control panel design; ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of materials.
  • Understanding of electrical safety and component selection and application.
  • Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English for technical discussions and coordination with teams and inspectors.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to drive compliance issues to resolution.
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically to project sites.
  • Relevant UL, electrical safety, compliance, or NRTL training preferred, along with familiarity with UL 508A, NFPA 70 (NEC), and NFPA 79.
  • Experience with UL/NRTL certification or field evaluations, UL Listed and Recognized component requirements, or electrical design, panel fabrication, installation, or commissioning preferred.
