Job summary

Susquehanna seeks a Compliance Co-op to join a collaborative global team. You will work with Trading, Technology, Legal, and Operations to understand market structure, review trade activity, and support regulatory inquiries.

Daily hours are 8am–5pm. The role emphasizes advanced Excel skills with VBA, SQL, and Python for data analysis and automation. GPA minimum 3.0; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (required).
• Experience with VBA, SQL, Python, or other data-analysis/automation tools preferred.
• Visa sponsorship for work authorization not available now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Work with Trading Compliance and Surveillance to understand market structures and regulations.

Overview

The Compliance team provides critical support to help ensure that the firm operates within applicable regulatory requirements. As a Compliance Co-op, you will work in a highly collaborative environment, partnering with colleagues across the globe and engaging with teams throughout the firm, including Trading, Technology, Legal, and Operations. This role offers exposure to U.S. and international trading regulations and a range of financial products, including equities, options, futures, swaps, prediction markets, and fixed income products.

• In this Role, you will:
• Work alongside the Trading Compliance and Surveillance teams to build a foundational understanding of market structures, trading activities, and applicable regulations.
• Analyze trade activity to support surveillance of a range of financial products.
• Research current and emerging regulatory and compliance matters to support analysis of trading activities and new business initiatives.
• Assist with regulatory inquiries and requests for information by gathering relevant data and documentation.
• Use tools such as Excel, Python, VBA, and SQL to streamline department processes and support automation initiatives.

Daily Hours: 8am to 5pm

What we're looking for

• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (required)
• Experience with VBA, SQL, Python, or other data-analysis and automation tools is preferred
