HIFI is seeking a Compliance Associate to join our in-person team in New York, focusing on KYC/KYB reviews, day-to-day BSA/AML operations, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening across fiat and on-chain flows.
You will work closely with product and engineering to translate regulatory requirements into onboarding flows, monitoring rules, and system controls, while supporting audits and regulatory examinations. This is a hands-on role in a high-growth, fintech environment.
HIFI is a stablecoin infrastructure company building technology for the next-generation of financial products. We build developer tools that allow value to be programmed—with rules, behavior, and logic embedded directly at the asset level. Institutions and enterprises already use our platform and API's to move billions of dollars in production environments around the world. But we view this as the beginning rather than the end.
Founded in 2022, our organization is flat and our team is talent dense. We are in person at our office in Flatiron and are intentional about who we work with. We've raised $37 million from world-class investors and recently closed a Series A lead by Left Lane Capital.
HIFI's compliance team is what makes it possible for banks, fintechs, and institutions to move money on stablecoin rails with confidence. The team owns the BSA/AML program, sanctions controls, and client onboarding that every partnership and every dollar of volume depends on. As stablecoin regulation takes shape this role helps HIFI scales from an early-stage startup into a long-term, category-defining platform, this team will set the standard for how compliance is built into institutional stablecoin infrastructure, as a core part of the product rather than an add-on.
Compliance Associate works at the center of that effort. You'll run day-to-day KYC/KYB reviews, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening across both fiat and on-chain flows, and you'll be the one answering diligence requests from banking partners and examiners. This is a hands-on role with real scope: you'll work directly with product and engineering to turn regulatory requirements into onboarding flows and monitoring rules, and you'll help shape the policies and tooling that let HIFI's compliance function scale alongside transaction volume.
Every institution that moves money on HIFI's rails is trusting that the compliance behind them is airtight. This is a chance to build that trust from the ground up at a stablecoin payments infrastructure company as it scales, and to help set the standard for how compliance works in a category regulators are defining right now.
Must be within a commutable distance from our office and able to work in person most days of the week.
HIFI is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status. We also provide reasonable accommodations during the hiring process.
