We are a team of mission-driven engineers with experience across aerospace, robotics and self-driving cars working to make this future a reality.

As a Compliance and Benefits Administrator at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the People team and will report to the VP, Business & People Operations. Your contributions to the team will support the efforts of our entire organization as we change the aviation industry through advanced automation. You’ll be a part of an incredible organization and a key contributor to our day-to-day success.

Responsibilities

In your role as a Compliance and Benefits Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the organization's People Operations with a focus on employment compliance and strategic benefits administration. This role ensures the company adheres to federal, state and local employment laws by monitoring regulatory changes, managing required reporting and documentation, and actively drafting new policies and updating the employee handbook. The Administrator manages the employee benefits program, including health, retirement, and leave programs. This role serves as the primary resource for employee questions and coordinating enrollments and life events with external vendors and brokers. This role will also be responsible for strategically recommending new benefit offerings and executing on feedback by running benefit surveys. In addition, this role maintains accurate employee records in the HRIS, supports compliance filings, and helps implement the HR programs and processes that promote consistency, compliance, and support a positive employee experience. Additional responsibilities include supporting employees in other states and countries.

Basic Success Criteria
  • 3-5 years of specialized experience in HR Compliance and Benefits Administration
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements (e.g. FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ACA)
  • Experience administering employee benefits programs, life events, and open enrollment
  • Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems and maintaining accurate employee data
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism
  • Customer‑centric mindset and positive attitude to provide responsive support and an excellent employee experience
Preferred Criteria
  • Experience with HRIS implementation or optimization, configuring workflows and processes to streamline data entry and reporting
  • Experience with multi‑state employment law
  • Global benefits administration
  • Knowledge of ERISA and 401(k) compliance and filings
