Job summary

Binance is seeking an experienced EDD professional to perform enhanced due diligence reviews for high-risk customers within a global crypto ecosystem. You will assess transaction risk, conduct risk assessments, and lead EDD-related projects while staying current with FATF standards and regional licensing requirements.

The role requires 3+ years in EDD, professional AML/CFT certifications, and bilingual English/Mandarin communication with international partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EDD experience.
• ACAMs, ACFCS or other industry leading certification.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of global CDD/EDD requirements.
• Deep understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions risks.
• Knowledge of global licensing requirements related to financial services and crypto related business activities.
• Experience with complex beneficial ownership structures.
• Excellent communication, analytical, logical thinking, problem solving, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete EDD reviews for high risk customers.
• Assess high-risk customer transaction activity for business alignment.
• Conduct risk assessments on new and existing customers.
• Lead projects related to EDD enhancements.
• Stay current on global EDD standards (e.g., FATF) and regional requirements.
• Provide AML/CFT subject matter expertise.
• Manage high-risk customer escalations from the first line of defense.
• Draft documentation including policies, programs, procedures, guidance documents, training materials, and impact analyses.
• Train other employees.
