Principal International is seeking a compliance-focused professional to support broker‑dealer compliance for Principal Securities and Principal Funds Distributor offerings. You’ll gather data, research regulations, and craft actionable insights across auditing, training and policy development.

This role supports compliance functions of the Principal Securities and Principal Funds Distributor broker dealers by independently conducting regulatory research, interpreting developments, and identifying risk exposures related to broker dealer obligations in the domestic Principal product and services and their distribution. The role is part of a compliance practice group broadly supporting broker‑dealer compliance for the retirement, insurance and asset management offerings of Principal. Responsibilities include assisting in the design and drafting of policies and procedures, participating in testing and examinations, preparing reports and filings, recommending corrective actions, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to process enhancements. The role engages broadly across internal teams, supports implementation of compliance initiatives, and begins to operate with increased independence.

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non‑sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
$69300 - $109200 / year
