Complex Senior Event Manager - Signia by Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Orlando (Finance)

This Bonnet Creek Resort is seeking a Complex Senior Event Manager to join their dynamic Events Team supporting both the Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria Orlando.

The Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek features 1009 rooms and suites, over 200,000 sq. ft of meeting space, and seven distinct dining options including La Luce, Zeta Asia, Harvest, Beech, Myth, and Muse. It also offers a three-acre lagoon-style pool with a lazy river.

The Waldorf Astoria Orlando comprises 501 deluxe rooms and suites, with 36,500 sq. ft of meeting space, four signature restaurants (Bull & Bear, Peacock Alley, Oscar's, and Aquamarine), a luxurious formal pool, lush landscaping, and an 18-hole, 7,113-yard championship golf course with a clubhouse grill. The hotel epitomizes effortless luxury, rooted in elegant service and unforgettable experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Manage event documentation and coordinate with Sales, hotel departments, and clients to ensure high-level service during all event phases.
• Handle complex events, ensuring seamless turnover from sales to service.
• Identify opportunities to maximize revenue through upselling and enhancements.
• Serve as the primary contact for event planners post-turnover, ensuring a positive experience.
• Organize, plan, and prioritize duties; communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Build and maintain client relationships, understand guest needs, and provide guidance and coaching.
• Participate in customer site inspections and assist with sales as needed.
• Perform additional duties based on business needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two (2) years of hospitality-related event management experience at the manager level.
• Experience supervising or managing 1-3 team members.
• Knowledge of hotel property management systems (preferably Delphi.fdc) is advantageous.
