Thornbury Community Services is seeking paediatric nurses to support a 6-year-old boy with bulbar palsy and a tracheostomy during his school day. You will work with families to create safe environments and enable participation in education and activities within the home and community.

Ideal candidates are compassionate, reliable, and proactive, with experience in UK complex paediatric care and a commitment to person-centred, holistic support. This is a rewarding role within a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• UK complex care experience (minimum 6 months in the last 2 years).
• Ability to manage tracheostomy care, suction, and NG tube.
• Compassionate, resilient and patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support for a 6-year-old with bulbar palsy and a tracheostomy during school hours.
• Build trust with families and empower the child to participate, learn, and thrive at home and in school.
