Job summary

Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a senior-level associate (7–9 years) to join our Chambers-ranked product liability team handling high-stakes litigation across national and international matters, with a focus on aviation and transportation. Open to all US offices.

The candidate will demonstrate excellent writing, strategic case management, and the ability to handle complex matters with minimal oversight, along with strong academic credentials. Clerkship experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Excellent writing demonstrated through clerkship, law review, moot court, or publications.
  • Experience managing cases and teams through all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions practice, experts, and trial.
  • Ability to manage complex cases with minimal supervision.
  • Superior academic credentials and references.
  • Commitment to excellent client service and client-centered practice.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues including jurisdictional, choice-of-law, and admiralty issues.
  • Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, strongly preferred.

We are seeking a senior-level associate (7-9 years of experience) to join our Chambers-ranked product liability team, defending clients in high-stakes, complex litigation matters of national and international significance, with an emphasis on the aviation and transportation industry sectors. This posting is open to all US offices.

Successful candidates will have:

  • 1. Excellent writing skills, demonstrated by experience gained through a clerkship, law review, moot court, or publication;
  • 2. Experience managing cases and teams through all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions practice, experts, and trial;
  • 3. Ability to manage complex cases with minimal oversight;
  • 4. Superior academic credentials and references;
  • 5. Willingness to commit to excellent client service and a client-centered practice;
  • 6. Comfort with analyzing complex legal issues, for example, jurisdictional, choice-of-law, and admiralty law issues;
  • 7. Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, is strongly preferred.

Annual Compensation: $420,000
