Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP seeks a mid-level associate (4-6 years) to join its complex litigation group, defending clients in high-stakes matters of national and international significance, with emphasis on aviation and transportation product liability and commercial matters.

Successful candidates will have excellent writing skills, experience across all litigation stages, and a commitment to excellent client service. Clerkship experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills, demonstrated by experience gained through a clerkship, law review, moot court or publication.
• Experience with all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions practice, working with experts, and trial.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Willingness to commit to excellent client service and a client-centered practice.
• Comfort with analyzing complex legal issues, for example contractual, jurisdictional, choice-of-law, and admiralty law issues.
• Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, is strongly preferred.

Annual Compensation Range: $310,000 to 390,000
