Job summary

The University of South Florida Libraries is seeking a Complex Copy Cataloger for the Tampa Campus Library. This on-site role performs complex copy cataloging across print and electronic formats, maintains bibliographic records, and supports data analysis using large datasets in the Alma system.

You will work with the Metadata/Cataloging Unit to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely access to resources across USF Libraries, reporting to the Associate Director of Collections and Discovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field with two years of library work experience.
• Appropriate college coursework may substitute for the required experience.
• Preferred: degrees in Computer Science, Information Management, or Library Science.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cataloging of physical formats across campuses, ensuring timely access and discovery.
• Perform database maintenance and data cleanup to improve catalog accuracy.
• Catalog electronic formats, batch load records, and manage e-resource links in Alma.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
