Job summary

The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics seek a qualified General/Complex Care Pediatrician qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.

Our program provides a patient/family centered medical home for medically complex pediatric and adolescent patients, with primary care and consultative coordination of care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and eligible for state medical license.
• Completed an accredited pediatric residency program.
• For Associate Professor or Professor rank, a demonstrated track‑record of leadership, excellent communication skills, and publications in high‑impact journals are required.

Responsibilities

• Join our growing program providing a patient/family centered medical home for medically complex pediatric and adolescent patients.
• Provide both primary care and consultative coordination of care.
• Active involvement in teaching medical students, residents and interprofessional learners in clinic, at the bedside and through the STEPS Simulation Center.
