Penn State Health Children's Hospital in Hershey, PA, seeks a Complex Care Pediatrician to join the Section of Complex Care within Academic General Pediatrics. The role focuses on highly complex pediatric patients, teaching, and advancing clinical care in a supportive academic environment.

Qualifications

• Coordinate care across multiple specialties and services for complex needs.
• Educate families and healthcare teams about management plans.

What we're offering

• Primary care medical home for children with medical complexity with excellent continuity for routine and ill visits
• Criteria for Patients:
  • Children birth to 21 years with severe chronic illness involving 3 or more organ systems
  • Reliance on medical technology (GT, tracheostomy, home ventilation, indwelling central line)
• Inpatient consultation with inpatient team for existing patients
• Care coordination for the complex medical needs of patients
• Education for families and healthcare providers

• We are seeking a board certified/board eligible general pediatrician with experience caring for medically complex children.
• M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
• Interest in academic medicine including teaching and/or research
