Job summary

Core Laboratories Inc. is seeking a Completion Diagnostics Data Analyst to process all completions diagnostics data into final client deliverables with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities include offshore and onshore spectral gamma/density logging data, chemical data, and 3D wellbore views, delivered as standard reports and client-ready formats. You will interpret results, answer client questions, and support one-off and longer-term projects while maintaining strict turnaround times and high

Qualifications

• 2- or 4- year degree, in engineering, geology, or another petroleum-related field preferred. High School or GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience in well-log field-acquisition or processing strongly preferred (open- or cased-hole).
• Basic knowledge of well completion techniques and operations is a plus.
• Experience in production log processing or acquisition is a plus.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including using and troubleshooting VBA macros helpful.
• Offshore jobs must be processed as soon as data is received from the field so availability for night/weekend/holiday processing is required.
• Chemical tracer data and onshore logs occasionally require night/weekend/holiday processing so availability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for these products is required.

Responsibilities

• Process offshore spectral gamma/density logging data into final client deliverables (log images, LAS files, PowerPoint slide decks).
• Answer processing questions from clients and aid in log interpretation.
• Process spectral gamma ray and pressure/temperature log data into standard client deliverables.
• Explain processing and interpret final results to clients.
• Modify standard deliverables and create new ones from scratch to meet client needs.
• QC and load field injection records into internal databases.
• Process chemical tracer data from the analytical lab into standard reports and other deliverables at high accuracy and speed.
• Independently identify and troubleshoot data or processing problems.
• Support production log data processing and other duties as needed.
• Assist in or own one-off and longer-term projects outside routine daily work.
