Position: Competitive Math Expert
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $50–$100/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Apply competitive mathematics expertise to design and evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning and solutions.
- Review advanced math problems and solutions for accuracy, rigor, and logical soundness.
- Assess reasoning depth, clarity, and problem-solving strategies across algebra, combinatorics, number theory, and geometry.
- Provide structured, high-quality feedback to improve AI reasoning and performance.
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers to refine mathematical benchmarks and evaluation standards.
Qualifications
- Strong background in competitive mathematics (e.g., AMC, AIME, USAMO, IMO, Putnam-level experience).
- Deep understanding of advanced problem-solving techniques in algebra, combinatorics, number theory, and geometry.
- Excellent logical reasoning and written communication skills.
- Academic or professional background in mathematics, computer science, physics, or a related field (high school, undergraduate, or graduate level).
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
