What you’ll do

Here’s what you can expect on a typical day:

  • Own the functional relationship with HR leaders for assigned functions/business units.
  • Partner with business unit leaders and HR team to assess the compensation needs of the businesses supported.
  • Provide expert consultation to HR business partners and key management clients.
  • Study and analyze all levels, including some executive positions. Evaluate positions using established evaluation processes/systems, determine grade/compensation targets, and prepare records of the validity of the evaluations.
  • Interpret and administer corporate compensation policy. Provide input to, interpret, and administer local policy.
  • Establish and manage the goals and objectives for assigned client groups.
  • Provide input to and implement key strategies.
  • Serve as Project Manager for assigned businesses during the Focal Point Review processes (merit, bonus, and equity). Set deliverables and timelines, clarify policy issues for business leaders and the HR team, and serve as the primary contact for administrative issues.
  • Complete all analysis and reporting for presentation to the business unit executive and HR team, in addition to Compensation leadership.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Compensation Operations Team on Corporate‑specific compensation initiatives, including ADP‑wide compensation projects.

Experience. You have 10+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

To succeed in this role
  • Demonstrated expertise in compensation management and analysis, including experience with compensation benchmarking and job evaluations.
  • Proven success in market analysis and knowledge of Global Job Architecture strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills, including building financial models from scratch.
  • Experience with pay equity and pay transparency subject matter.
  • Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint and experience with Tableau or similar tools.
  • Highly skilled with interpreting and presenting data.
  • Strong business acumen to align business objectives and HR strategies with corporate goals to maximize shareholder value.
  • Thorough working knowledge of HRIS systems.
  • Strong presentation and persuasion skills, with experience building and maintaining proactive involvement with all levels within the organization.
  • Experience presenting to senior leaders. Strong experience collaborating with multiple functions/organizations.
  • Energetic, intellectually curious, with strong, proven organizational skills.
  • You’ll have a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or equivalent.
Additional comfort in the role
  • Experience supporting service and/or technology clients at a large multinational firm or within a large organization.
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional).
