Job summary

Guild is hiring a Compensation Manager to lead the annual compensation cycles, analyze salary ranges, and oversee equity-related compensation and stock option administration. You will collaborate with People Partners and the Talent team, ensure compliance, and drive data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.

The role is hybrid and based out of Denver, with a market-focused total rewards strategy and ongoing education for teams across the company.

Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of compensation principles, including salary structures, equity compensation, and incentive program design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex compensation data and translate into actionable recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of compensation-related compliance, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience building and implementing compensation and equity programs and policies, including incentive plan design.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across HR teams and management.
  • Preferred CCP/CEP or SHRM certification (SPHR or SHRM-SCP).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Finance, or Analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for data modeling and market forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual compensation cycles, including planning tool setup, data analysis, reporting, troubleshooting, and communications.
  • Perform complex analysis of salary ranges to ensure they remain competitive, recommending consolidation and updates as needed.
  • Lead the design of equity-related compensation and stock option administration, including monthly equity grant analysis.
  • Manage job evaluation, job family creation, and salary survey benchmarking, including surveys and trend analysis.
  • Serve as a key collaborator on sales incentive plan design and administration.
  • Partner with People Business Partners and the Talent team on compensation-related processes, approvals, questions, and company-wide education.
  • Implement and maintain compensation technology and ensure HRIS data accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and represent the Compensation team on cross-functional projects.

Guild is hiring a Compensation Manager. This role plays an integral part on the Total Rewards team, helping build and scale Guild’s compensation function to align with our employee value proposition, keep Guild in compliance, and partner with internal stakeholders on strategic compensation matters. Our compensation programs are core to the Total Rewards team’s mission of ensuring employees feel valued and rewarded for their contributions, and this role offers the chance to do that work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, with the ability to build complex data models for compensation analysis and market trend forecasting.

We are committed to equal pay for equal work and believe in compensation transparency. All salary ranges are standardized nationwide and will not vary by region. This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $118,300 - $180,400 and stock options. Compensation offered will be based on a combination of factors such as experience, competencies, and internal equity. Please note this is a hybrid role based out of Denver Office.
