Job summary

Spring Health in New York City is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our Total Rewards & People Operations team. Reporting to the Director of Compensation & Equity, you will evaluate, benchmark, and maintain competitive total rewards programs while leveraging AI-driven workflows to scale impact in a hybrid NYC role.

We require 2–4 years in compensation or related analytics, strong Excel/Sheets skills, and experience with market surveys and equity administration.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in compensation, total rewards, equity administration, or strategic HR analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with Excel or Google Sheets, including data modeling and complex functions.
  • Experience using external market survey data and job evaluation methodologies.
  • High discretion handling confidential pay and equity data.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of pay equity regulations at federal, state, and local levels.

Responsibilities

  • Perform job evaluations, market pricing, and salary band benchmarking across all departments.
  • Partner with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to provide data-driven compensation guidance.
  • Support administration of equity programs, including grants, cap table updates, and vendor platforms.
  • Evaluate and build AI-driven workflows to scale compensation data analysis and inquiry management.
  • Support annual merit, promotion, and incentive review cycles.
  • Audit data for equity, consistency, and compliance; maintain job structures and internal pay alignment.
  • Build models to evaluate compensation structures, variable pay, and salary increases.
  • Develop compensation communications and training materials for managers and employees.
  • Analyze market trends and surveys to stay competitive.
