Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Compensation Advisor to join our team of Compensation professionals supporting a dynamic and fast-paced organization. Reporting to the Compensation Manager, this position will serve as an advisor and consultant to the business on compensation programs, policies, and practices.

The Compensation Advisor responsibilities include:

  • Providing compensation advice and support to assigned business clients and collaborating with stakeholders in planning, developing, implementing, and managing compensation programs that support the company's business strategy.
  • Offering market intelligence, best practice research, data analysis, and consultation to inform solutions, influence decision-making, and ensure competitive and fair compensation practices.
  • Participating in the development of new compensation programs aligned with organizational strategy and best practices.
  • Developing and delivering training programs, communications, and tools to facilitate the implementation of compensation initiatives.
  • Preparing and presenting summary reports and dashboards of compensation analysis information.
  • Managing the annual merit, bonus, and long-term incentive planning processes and communications for assigned clients.
  • Evaluating salary actions and determining when exceptions are appropriate, consulting with managers on sensitive issues.
  • Ensuring compliance of programs and practices with organizational policies, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve and enhance processes and practices.
  • Maintaining the accuracy of all job data in HRIS and market pricing systems.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of applicable experience, or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in compensation consulting or providing consultative advice within an organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This range reflects typical salaries based on experience and other factors.
