Position Overview

Nemours is seeking a Compensation Analyst to work out of Wilmington, Delaware, Jacksonville, or Orlando, FL. This is a hybrid role.

Primary Functions

• Provide direct technical and consultative support in the administration of the organization's staff compensation policies and practices.
• Perform standard compensation surveys and research studies.
• Conduct compensation analyses and maintain the job description and compensation databases.
• Manage day-to-day compensation activities and provide support and advice to HR Business Partners regarding interpretation of policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Support the Compensation Manager in project management activities.

Essential Functions

• Additional miscellaneous duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
• Research and analyze competitive compensation practices in the labor supply areas and contribute to established compensation surveys or develop custom surveys.
• Conduct internal and external compensation analyses and, under direction of the Compensation Manager, provide salary determination recommendations to HR Business Partners and management.
• Perform specialized research studies on a range of compensation topics, including analyzing data and preparing summary reports.
• Assist and collaborate in planning, coordinating, facilitating, administering, and reporting the annual salary review program.
• Maintain and update compensation databases and consult with HRIS on programming and data integrity issues.
• Work with payroll personnel to implement new pay structures and help resolve payroll issues when appropriate.
• Interpret and assist in development of enterprise-wide compensation policies and practices.
• Conduct job analyses to ensure compliance with federal and state wage and hour regulations.

Job Requirements

• Associate’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Compensation Analyst.
• Healthcare experience specific to compensation required.
• Oracle experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and work collaboratively with employees, management, and teams.
• Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail while managing complex projects and priorities to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy and ability to detect inconsistencies in data.
