Job summary

Wheelchair Transport Service, Inc. is seeking a full-time Driver for non-emergency medical transport in Florida. You will transport clients to medical appointments, assist with mobility, and uphold professionalism in hospitals and clinics.

Flexible schedules driven by trip demand, with overtime opportunities. Requirements include a valid U.S. driver’s license (5+ years) with a clean record, Level II background check, DOT physical, and physical ability to assist patients.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver's license with at least 5 years of driving experience.
• Level II background check and clearance through the national OIG Exclusions database.
• DOT physical and fit-for-duty test clearance.
• Ability to push, pull, kneel, bend, lift and stand for extended periods.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments.
• Assist passengers with mobility needs (wheelchairs, etc.).
• Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and facility staff.
• Communicate promptly with dispatch and supervisors.
• Follow all company protocols, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
