Job summary

High Desert PACE is seeking a compassionate PACE van driver to ensure safe and timely transportation for elderly and frail participants. The driver will operate specialized vehicles, assist with boarding, and maintain a positive rapport with participants and their families.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with elderly transport, and a valid driver's license. The position offers the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to participants' daily lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is often required.
• Experience transporting frail and elderly individuals is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a PACE vehicle to transport participants according to a scheduled route.
• Assist participants with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
• Maintain daily records, including route details and inspection reports.
• Ensure the van's interior and exterior are clean and well-maintained.
