Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent required or preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be able to perform required skills from NAVTA-approved program.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain the flow of patients.
• Communicate with the veterinarian and vet techs.
• Carry out procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance.
• Adhere to hospital standards for pet safety and clean/organized areas.
• Educate clients about preventive care and wellness plans.
• Mentor other hospital team members.
