Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree with valid license to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Previous work experience as a veterinarian or graduate new to the field.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine examinations.
• Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment.
• Perform surgeries including dental, ophthalmic, and abdominal procedures.
• Administer and/or oversee vaccinations and treatments.
• Prescribe medication.
• Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare.
