Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an accredited college/university.
• Current State Veterinary License.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice.
• Excellent surgical and dental skills.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate with clients and educate on care.
• Perform diagnostics and surgical procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Handle pharmacy duties and controlled substances protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on priorities and operations.
• Monitor hospital protocols to ensure high standards.
