Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary medicine preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; assist with heavier lifts with help.
• Ability to work on weekends as required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in medicine and surgery.
• Take histories, vitals, and weights during outpatient exams.
• Prepare patients for surgery and monitor vital signs.
• Obtain samples and perform in-hospital lab work.
• Take radiographs following safety procedures.
• Handle and restrain animals during exams.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and anesthesia as directed.
• Keep exam rooms and lab areas clean and stocked.
• Communicate with clients and team about patient plans.
• Other duties as assigned.
