Responsibilities include assisting on procedures, communicating with the team, educating clients about wellness plans, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the flow of patients and assist veterinarians and technicians.
• Communicate with the veterinarian and vet technicians.
• Carry out procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.
• Mentor other hospital team members.
