Eastside-Nursing- seeks a reliable Unit Assistant to support residents with transportation to medical appointments and light duties when not escorting residents. This in-person role requires compassion and teamwork.

You will assist with mobility, respond to call bells, and maintain professional interactions with residents, families, and staff while following infection control guidelines. Weekly pay and a supportive environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient and dependable.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass background check and required health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Escort residents to medical appointments and return.
• Provide light duties when not escorting residents (e.g., passing water, making beds).
• Respond to call bells and assist with resident needs.
• Maintain professional interactions with residents, families, and staff.
