Job summary
Caregivers For Independence is seeking caring and compassionate individuals to work as non-medical Transportation Drivers. If you are a caring person with a passion for helping others, you should join our team.
No experience is needed and paid training is provided. Interviews and hiring will begin immediately, with flexible morning, afternoon and evening shifts available in the local area. Join a family-run team dedicated to independence.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 18 years of age or above.
- Open availability mainly morning, afternoon and evening shifts.
- Ability to pass BCII or FBI background check.
- Ability to pass abuser registry and nurse aide registry.
- A safe and acceptable vehicle with CFI-provided vehicle safety check.
- Valid drivers license.
- Satisfactory driving record as defined by Company with MVR check provided by CFI.
- Vehicle insurance with proof of insurance.
- Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, sit and walk for periods of time.
Responsibilities
- Checking vehicles (fuelled up and everything in good working condition).
- Keeping NMT logs.
- Ensuring the safety of the individuals being transported.
