Job summary

Inspira Health is seeking a transportation specialist to operate a bus or van (up to 18 passengers) for Inspira LIFE participants. You will ensure safe, punctual transport and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety daily.

The role requires a valid NJ driver’s license and a CDL Class C with passenger endorsement, a safe driving record, and compliance with DOT drug/alcohol testing. You may work at Vineland or Williamstown LIFE programs as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/GED.
• Minimum of 1 year working with the frail or elderly preferred.
• Must have a medical examiner certificate and recertify every two years.
• Employees must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations.
• Follow all DOT guidelines, including required random drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate a bus or van carrying up to 18 passengers weighing under 26,000 lbs while ensuring safe and on-time transport.
• Maintain overall cleanliness and safety of the vehicle assigned daily.
• Communicate safety issues to the Transportation Manager, designee, or IDT.
• May work at Vineland or Williamstown LIFE Program locations as census needs change.
