Job summary

Completely Care Recruitment Consultants Ltd is seeking dedicated Support Workers to join their team in Monmouthshire. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and support mobility with dignity.

The role requires UK care experience, a caring and reliable attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging behaviour with de-escalation techniques. DBS refund scheme available; sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months UK based experience in care and support work.
• Driving license and access to vehicle – preferred.
• A caring, patient, and reliable attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Please note: We do not offer sponsorship.
• Proven experience working with individuals with challenging behaviour.
• Ability to manage situations confidently using de-escalation techniques.
• Understanding of positive behaviour support and person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks, using a person-centred approach to ensure their needs are met.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
• Help clients maintain their independence and well‑being by supporting them in community activities and appointments.
• Safely assist clients with mobility using Moving & Handling techniques, ensuring their safety and dignity at all times.
• Support individuals who may display challenging behaviour, responding calmly and effectively to ensure a safe and positive environment.
• Support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations, promoting a sense of purpose and fulfilment.
