Job summary

Piedmont Health Services, Inc. in Burlington, NC is seeking a Driver in the Transportation department. The primary role is to transport physically limited passengers to destinations while interacting with caregivers and community agencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year experience transporting or caring for individuals with mobility needs.
• Valid NC Driver’s License with acceptable 3-year motor vehicle record; Class B/C with passenger endorsement preferred, not required.
• Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Transport physically limited passengers to and from destinations.
• Interact with caregivers and community agencies; assist with personal care needs as needed.
• Work location: 1214 Vaughn Road, Burlington, NC 27217; schedule Mon–Fri 8:00am–5:00pm; travel as needed.
