Commonwealth Senior Living in Middletown, CT is hiring a Resident Care Associate to support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will assist with daily activities, follow individualized care plans, document care, and help maintain a dignified, high-quality life through teamwork and empathy.

This full-time role requires CNA or HHA certification, CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain, and flexible weekend availability.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain per policy.
• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality.
• Flexible availability including weekends.
• Demonstrates compassion and genuine care for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and communicate care needs to the Resident Care Director.
• Assist with mobility using proper techniques and equipment to prevent accidents.
• Conduct routine rounds to meet resident needs as per individualized care plans.
• Assist with lifts, moves, and transport using safe body mechanics or devices.
• Maintain skin integrity by preventing pressure ulcers and skin damage.
• Document daily care activities per policy and regulatory standards.
• Report resident issues promptly to supervisors and respond professionally to inquiries.
