Inspirations of Northbrook is seeking a part-time Resident Care Assistant to provide compassionate care to residents at our Northbrook, IL location. You will work on-site with the Wellness Director and shift supervisor, performing tasks that support residents’ dignity, safety, and daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• State-approved CNA certification, if required.
• Complete the Resident Assistant skills competency checklist.
• Be physically healthy and able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Complete drug testing and background check on hire or as requested.
• Experience in Assisted Living preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services to residents and assist wellness staff as needed.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, toileting, eating, mobility).
• Maintain professional demeanor with residents and families.
• Report changes in residents' condition to supervisor or Wellness Director.
• Observe safety and infection control procedures and environmental hazards.
• Document provision of services on company forms.
• Escort residents and coordinate transportation needs.
• Assist with personal correspondence/phone use when requested.
