Job summary

The Ivy Living, managed by Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Driver for a 20-passenger bus at its California community. You will transport residents safely to outings, assist with boarding, and ensure a secure environment in line with company values.

Candidates must hold a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement, pass a background check and health screenings, and meet the required schedule (Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM). Pay ranges from $22 to $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have either a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
• Prefer two years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB Tests

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, special activities, and personal resident appointments.
• Assist with the safe loading of residents and their belongings onto and off-of-community vehicles.
• Follow all state and federal laws when operating community vehicles.
• Comply with standards and processes for proper vehicle inspection and driving.
• Act as a member of the activity staff when on outings/excursions and within the community.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
