Job summary

Visiting Angels Marble Falls is hiring a Comfort Care Caregiver to support seniors across the Highland Lakes area, including Burnet, Marble Falls, Lampasas, Buchanan Dam, Llano and more. You will bring kindness and practical help to clients in their homes.

This role offers flexibility with full-time, part-time, 8- and 12-hour shifts plus PRN. You’ll perform personal care, light housekeeping, meal planning, and transportation support while promoting independence and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.
• A heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients handle personal care and hygiene.
• Managing light housekeeping.
• Encouraging clients to meet their exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompting clients to take their prescription medications at the right times.
• Helping clients with shopping and putting away groceries (or shopping for them).
• Planning and preparing meals in collaboration with clients (based on client ability).
• Assisting clients with mobility and ambulation - this can include everything from getting around the house to visiting the doctor and taking walks.
