Job summary

Arvum Senior Living, LLC in Covington, LA seeks a compassionate Caregiver (CNA) to provide hands-on support to residents. You’ll assist with daily living activities, uphold safety and dignity, and contribute to a warm home-like environment in our assisted living community.

Qualified candidates have a CNA certification (or equivalent), a HS diploma or GED, and good communication and customer service skills. We offer flexible schedules, paid training, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas.
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed.
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
