Job summary

HomeWell Care Services, Inc. in Wallingford, Connecticut is seeking compassionate Caregivers to enhance seniors’ lives by providing non-medical services. You will work one-on-one with clients in their homes, forming meaningful relationships.

Your duties include companionship, help with daily living tasks, and transportation. Applicants should ideally have a CNA or HHA license and a strong commitment to care.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Reliable transportation; must have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Proof of current TB testing.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position.
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable.
• Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients.
• Assist with light cooking and cleaning.
• Help with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Offer assistance with ambulation and medication reminders.
• Transport clients for appointments and errands.
