Job summary

Visiting Angels Southern Maryland is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support seniors in their homes. You will provide essential daily assistance, transportation, meal prep, and light housekeeping to improve quality of life.

The role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and the ability to follow care plans. A valid driver’s license and CPR certification are commonly required; background checks are mandatory. Flex scheduling is available.

• CPR certification is preferred but can be required.

Responsibilities

• Show kindness and empathy towards senior clients
• Provide essential support to seniors at their residence
• Help with medication reminders
• Assist with household errands and provide transportation to and from appointments
• Perform light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation duties
• Some people need personal care and hygiene assistance - including bathing, dressing, and grooming
